This romance action anime highlights a story set In the Sun Kingdom, where the rain is something that has never been seen, all that they are familiar with is daily sunshine. On the other hand, in the land “the Rain Dukedom”, the weather is the opposite, as everyone has the ability to create rain with their voices.
Livius Ifrikia is the new king of the Sun Kingdom, and in three short years, he almost succeeded in conquering the whole world. Hence, as soon as Livius knows the secret behind the rain, he decides to marry Nike Remercier, one of the princesses of the Rain Dukedom.
However, the spreading of rumors about Livius being a cruel, ruthless, and tyrannical ruler, makes the princess begins to prepare herself for the worst. But when she finally meets her fiancé, the princess will discover that he is an entirely different person from what she originally expected.
21. Noragami
Noragami is a good action romantic anime series that also has comedy and supernatural themes in it! The story of this tv show depicts: that In times of need if you look in the right place, you just may see a strange telephone number scrawled in red.
If you call this number, you will hear a young man introduce himself as lord Yato. He is a minor deity who dreams of having millions of worshippers. However, his goals are far from being true. He spends his days doing odd jobs for five yen apiece until his weapon partner becomes fed up with her useless master and deserts him.
Just as things seem to be looking grim for the god, his fortune changes when a middle school girl, Hiyori Iki, supposedly saves Yato from a car accident, taking the hit for him. Remarkably, she survives, but the event has caused her soul to become loose and hence able to leave her body.
Hiyori demands that Yato return her to normal, but upon learning that he needs a new partner to do so, reluctantly agrees to help him find one. And with Hiyori’s help, Yato’s luck may finally be turning around.
20. Danmachi
This is an adventure romantic action anime that chronicles the story of a boy who hopes to become the greatest adventurer in the city of Orario. After a chance encounter with the lonely goddess, Hestia, his dreams become a little closer to reality. With her support, Bell embarks on a fantastic quest as he ventures deep within the city’s monster. Even on the surface, survival is a hard-earned privilege.
Indeed, nothing is ever certain in a world where gods and humans live and work together, especially when they often struggle to get along. One thing is for sure, though: a myriad of blunders, triumphs, and friendships awaits the dauntlessly optimistic protagonist of this herculean tale.
19. The Seven Deadly Sins
Nanatsu no Taizai anime series depicts the story of The feared yet revered Holy Knights of Britannia using immensely powerful magic to protect the region of Britannia and its kingdoms. However, a small subset of the Knights supposedly betrayed their homeland and turned their blades against their comrades in an attempt to overthrow the ruler of the Liones.
They were defeated by the Holy Knights, but rumors continued to persist that these legendary knights, called the “Seven Deadly Sins,” were still alive. Ten years later, the Holy Knights themselves staged a coup d’état, and thus became the new, tyrannical rulers of the Kingdom of Liones.
Nanatsu no Taizai anime and manga series follows the adventures of Elizabeth, the third princess of Liones, and her search for the Seven Deadly Sins. So, With their help, she will not only take back her kingdom from the Holy Knights but also seek justice in an unjust world.
18. Rurouni Kenshin
The story of this good adventure action and romance anime follows Kenshin Himura, an ex-assassin who is trying to find his way in life. He is a wandering swordsman, trying to protect the people in Japan instead of going back to his former life.
He has seen that the world is bloodthirsty and thrives on violence, and he knows that it’s wrong. Overall this action romance anime contains huge themes of dark comedy, personal peace, and forgiveness.
17. Katekyo Hitman Reborn
Spanning genres of action, romance, and superpower, Katekyo Hitman Reborn is a good long-running that chronicles the story of Tsunayoshi Sawada, who is just good for nothing.
He is clumsy, talentless, and in love with the school idol Kyouko, a girl so completely out of his league. Dubbed “Loser Tsuna” by his classmates, he seems to be the very personification of failure in the guise of a middle-schooler.
Tsuna’s life takes an extraordinary twist when he encounters the mysterious Reborn, who happens to be a hitman. The hitman’s mission is to prepare the dull middle schooler to succeed the ninth boss of the notorious Vongola family, who is on the brink of retirement.
The dull boy has a grueling road ahead, but with the help of his new criminal affiliates and his peculiar home tutor, perhaps even Loser Tsuna can achieve greatness.
16. Inuyasha
Inuyasha is a classic romance action anime series that follows a girl named Kagome, whose normal life turns into an epic adventure full of action and an unexpected romance story with the demon Inuyasha.
Everything starts off when she falls into a cursed well on the grounds of her family’s Shinto shrine. Instead of hitting the bottom of the well, Kagome ends up 500 years in the past during Japan’s violent Sengoku period with the demon’s true target.
After a battle with a revived demon accidentally causes the sacred jewel to shatter, Kagome enlists the help of a young hybrid dog-demon/human named Inuyasha to help her collect the shards and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

Here is a great game anime that revolves around a massive online role-playing game called Sword Art Online (SAO). However, while launching this Game, a cruel turn of events happens, as the players soon realize that they cannot log out; the game’s creator has trapped them in his new world until they complete all one hundred levels of the game.
In order to escape Aincrad, Kirito will now have to interact and cooperate with his fellow players. To make matters worse, Sword Art Online is not about having fun, but the truth is if they die in it, they die in real life. SAO is an anime series that follows the adventures of Kirito who must adapt to his new reality, fight for his survival, and hopefully break free from his virtual hell.
14. Date a Live
An awesome romance action anime to watch is Date A Live which tells the story of these beautiful female spirits invading our world. They are powerful and can kill dozens at a time. There is not much we do know about them but they are still dangerous entities.
Shidou is our protagonist, who’s at the center of such a breed of invaders that can only be stopped by his kissing and dating them.
13. Visions of Escaflowne
Escaflowne has an excellent story and characters, a well-built and animated world, excellent dialogues, and beautiful music. It is a very solid series. It’s one of my favorite series for me, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good series.
This is a story about a high school student, who finds herself in a war-torn fantasy world where she teams up with a prince fighting against an evil empire.
12. The Sacred Blacksmith
This action romantic anime series starts with Cecily, a newly trained knight, and she has ambitious goals. She is stubborn and full of mistakes, but she has the protection of her city on her shoulders, but she has little competence.
The broken sword of her family almost seemed to symbolize Cecily’s need to mature more. To help with this process she seeks Luke Ainsworth’s services; a man with little patience for her immaturity.
Joining them are Lisa, who is Luke’s assistant. She is small and spunky, and there’s also Aria, who comes with her own mysterious past.
11. Blast of Tempest
Known also as Zetsuen no Tempest, this is a really good action romance anime tv show, which is a very promising shonen anime with interesting characters and an elaborate setup in a world full of turmoil and dramatic buildup,
The Story follows two teenage boys who have to figure out the mystery behind the main character’s sister’s murder and save the world with the help of a mage girl on a deserted island. Together they shall have to overcome their dark secrets and unravel more mysteries, in a great but dangerous adventure.
10. Future Diary
It sounds like a really great series and I think it will definitely keep you entertained until the end. You can watch this as though you are in a game of “survival” to see who will take over as the successor to the Lord.
It’s a story of people who have been drawn into a deadly game, where the victor will become a deity’s successor. With no other options, innocent shy guy Yukiteru and yandere violent girl Yuno must use their cellphones called “Future Diaries” to survive this bloody battle. The anime explores themes like survival, strategy, and love. It also has a lot of action scenes with some gore and violence as well as some comedy.
9. The Familiar of Zero
The Familiar of Zero is a good anime series about Saito, who gets transported to another world and has been chosen to become the next familiar for the weak magical girl Zero. As he begins his journey, he makes new friends, faces powerful enemies, and falls in love with his master, while also realizing that his fantasy world isn’t what it seems to be. The Familiar of Zero explores themes such as identity, power, acceptance, friendship, love, and more through its narrative while also providing interesting character development.
8. Full Metal Panic
Full Metal Panic is a great anime series about the world of mechas. It’s about Sousuke Sagara a skilled member of a covert anti-terrorist private military group known as Mithril, who is tasked with disguising himself as a student in order to protect Kaname Chidori, a spirited Japanese high school girl.
This is one of my favorite anime series because it has a lot of action, romance, suspense, and drama. I would recommend Full Metal Panic to people who are looking for an anime series with lots of epic action scenes, and heartwarming romantic moments.
7. Beyond the Boundary
The dark fantasy anime series is about a high school sophomore named Akihito Kanbara who appears human. Despite this, he’s half Youmu and can heal quickly which makes him hard to injure. One day, he meets the freshman Mirai Kuriyama when she seems like she’s about to jump from the building.
Rushing to save her, he ends up getting stabbed by her ability to manipulate blood into weapons. However, it turns out that he is an immortal person. When she figures out his true identity she tries to kill him, but he’s been one step ahead of her the whole time. Will they be friends or will they remain enemies?
6. Highschool DxD
High School DxD is one the most popular anime of all time, it’s a good action romance harem anime filled with pretty females, especially the sexy hot girl “Rias Gremory”.
The story focuses on Issei Hyoudou who is a pervert. He does nothing in his life, except peep at women and dreams of having his own harem one day. Then, things seem to be looking up for Issei when a pretty girl asks him out on a date.
Although she turns out to be a fallen angel who brutally kills him! But, he gets a second chance at life when Rias Gremory, who is a top-class devil, reviving him as her servant.
Now, Issei must train and fight in order to survive in the violent world of angels and devils. Any given adventure leads to many hilarious and epic moments with his new comrades. all the while keeping his new life a secret from his friends and family in High School DxD!
5. Angel Beats!
Angel Beats! is a very popular anime series that has a lot of fans. It was released in the year 2010 and has many different genres.
It follows the story of Otonashi, who wakes up to find himself in an afterlife where all his memories are wiped clean except his name. He meets up and joins a group of school students in their fight against an angel.
Angel Beats! is considered one of the best action romance anime series because it tells a story about people’s struggle for life, death, and love in a very unique way.
4. Darling in the Franxx
Darling in the Franxx is a good anime series that has some interesting themes and a lot of action. The show has both an optimistic and pessimistic outlook on humanity, which makes it an interesting watch.
Darling in the Franxx is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humans drive giant humanoid robots called “Franxx” to fight monsters. It’s about two main characters, Hiro and Zero Two, who are partners with their own Franxx. Their loyalty is to their friends and new home, and that’s why they are willing to fight against anyone who threatens their safety.
It is an exciting sci romance action anime tv show about two very important people in each other’s lives, Hiro and Zero Two. It also talks about many other deep subjects like friendship, love, trust, and self-worth.
3. Guilty Crown
Guilty Crown is a romance action anime series that was released in 2011, The story follows Shu Ouma, a high school student who inherits an ability that enables him to draw out some sort of weapons “Voids” from a girl named Inori.
He’s caught the conflict between a quasi-governmental organization known as GHQ and a resistance group called Funeral Parlor which aims to restore Japan’s independence from them.
In the process, Shu is learning to deal with his ability, falling in love with Inori, and unraveling the mystery of his past. The show also explores themes of free will, destiny, and what it means to be human.
2. Hataraku Maou-Sama!
This is an awesome anime. It’s about a demon lord and one of his generals fighting a warrior hero who will push them to a tight spot. To make matters worse, they end up being trapped in another dimension, which is the real world.
They couldn’t find a way back with their faded powers, so now they must disguise themselves as humans, and work menial jobs in order to survive. Until they find a way to regain their powers and return home.
This is a good reverse isekai anime that spans genres of action, romance, and comedy, and has a great premise for a story, but it is really short.
1. Akatsuki no Yona
Produced by Studio Pierrot, this is a good action romance anime series that everyone should watch. The 24 episodes of the series depict the story of the cheerful Princess Yona, Who, Upon her sixteenth birthday, intended to tell her doting father of her love for Soo-won.
However, her life will turn upside down while witnessing a horrible scene of the man she loves cruelly assassinating her father. Heartbroken by this painful betrayal, Princess Yona fled the palace with her loyal servant Hak.
Now, she will take up the sword and the bow on a quest to get stronger, gain new allies to one day get her revenge on Soo-won, and reclaim her kingdom back.
