Well, this anime has so many similarities with Elfen Lied, as they are both from the same Author, but this one got a dark deep story that is not associated with the harem theme that we have seen in Elfen Lied.
The series depicts the story of Murakami, who during his childhood was admiring a girl he called Kuroneko. Kuroneko insists on knowing about aliens and meeting them, but no one believes her, even young Murakami is skeptical.
One day, she decides to show him the aliens, but an accident occurs and Kuroneko dies. After a year, Murakami is obsessed with finding proof of the existence of aliens because of a promise he had made to Kuroneko. Then, one day, a new transfer student comes to his class, who not only looks a lot like Kuroneko.
