Facing such hellish conditions, the friends must scrape together all the strength they have to survive until their sentences are up; but even if they do, just what kind of lives are waiting for them on the other side?

After his family is killed, Raki, a villager, is luckily saved by the Claymore Clare and decides to join her on her journey to rid towns of youma. As they travel and fight together, Raki learns more about Clare’s past and her organization of other Claymore warriors. Together, they journey closer to avenging the specific demon that Clare has been seeking revenge on.
