He’s the King of the Mazoku, who is living in a fake peace with humans. Much to his subject’s dismay, he’s completely different from any previous rulers they’ve had. He’s a kind, considerate person that believes in justice. He doesn’t believe in dealing with conflict with violence and would make a great leader for a country on the brink of war.
Now Yuri has to deal with figuring out how to become a good Maoh, which is difficult in itself, and try to assimilate into the customs and culture of this new world. All while the tension between humans and Mazoku is at an all-time high.

Isekai Shokudou is a fantasy mystery and another world anime that centers around Western Restaurant Nekoya, which is one of the more popular restaurants in Tokyo. They serve traditional Japanese and Western dishes to customers who reside in the Tokyo area.
Well, it turns out that this seemingly ordinary restaurant is popular with a number of interspecies…While the restaurant is thought to be closed on Saturdays, the truth is that its doors are instead opened for a different type of clientele coming from other worlds.
The restaurant has every kind of customer imaginable, from dragons and elves to fairies and mages. Nevertheless, the mysterious chef knows their secrets and will serve them up with a smile.

Rio was excited and believed this would be a new journey in his life, but it didn’t go very well. He had difficulties adjusting to life at the prestigious academy which is full of nobles and upper-class students.
20. Shinchou Yuusha
Shinchou Yuusha is also known in English as the “Cautious Hero.” This is an《isekai/another world》 anime, as well as action and adventure. There’s also an op mc.

Retaining memories of his stressful and old life, Shingo learns that the person he is occupying is Wendelin von Benno Baumeister, a poor nobleman’s eighth son who lived in the countryside.

In High School Prodigies Have It Easy Even in Another World!, a group of Japanese high school friends survive a plane crash and find themselves in another world. Things work differently there, and there are two human races.

After he crashes into a pool of water, his senses are finally able to come back and he sees that he’s surrounded by enormous monsters. After discovering he’s been brought into a game world by Shindou and Hakozaki, Yotsuya learns that he has only 14 days to complete a quest.
This world is different from the real one, in that anyone who dies will be resurrected in 30 seconds so long as someone from his party is still alive. With a variety of quests that grow more difficult with time, Shindou, Yotsuya, and Hakozaki are seeking to uncover the mystery behind this game world.
13. Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest
Arifureta: From Commonplace to Another World, is one of the most loved transported-to-another-world anime with an OP MC. The series follows the story of Hajime Nagumo, a 17-year-old ordinary boy, and what happens when he and his classmates are summoned to a fantasy world and how they deal with the given task of saving humanity.
Though his classmates are gifted with impressive abilities that would be useful in combat, Hajime is teased for only gaining a really mediocre power without any real offense. One of Hajime’s classmates betrays him and throws him into the abyss. He survives the fall and resolves to fight for his life, meeting a captive vampire called Yue. Hajime takes an interest in Yue and a few others alike and starts his adventure to return home while gradually transforming from low ranked to a powerful character.

The next show I’ll introduce is ‘Kenja no Mago’, a great another world anime that follows Shin, who gets reincarnated in an isekai kingdom. As he’s raised by the hero of this kingdom- Merlin Wal- he grows into one of the most powerful characters you will meet.
After independently showing a natural inclination to magic since the age of 15, he is sent to a prestigious magic academy, where he starts harnessing his magical abilities, while also trying to gain some social skills there.
11. Hai To Gensou no Grimgar
This adventurous another world anime series tells the story of five young people who, right before waking up in a mysterious world, have lost their memories, except their names. Meanwhile, it seems strange that they can speak words they’ve never heard before.
The group was asked to join the Reserve Army because monsters are just lurking around the town. To make a living and keep the town safe, they have to fight them off. The five teenagers have already joined the group and left. Consequently, they would need to find a way to survive by themselves. But first of all, they couldn’t even fight against weak monsters.
10. Youjo Senki
Why not give this a try? Youjo Senki is a unique anime about the adventures of an evil little girl and the people she meets in another world. It has good animation, interesting characters, and a world ravaged by war, so it’s worth checking out.

The protagonist reawakens in the afterlife before a girl called Aqua. She states that she is a goddess who watches over people unlucky enough to die unexpectedly. Aqua gives him two options: to go to heaven, or get transported to another world and defeat the Demon King. As a gamer – Kazuma’s instinct kicks in, and he chooses the option of starting life in another fantasy world.
There’s only one final choice to make before Kazuma is set to take on a new world: and that is choosing one thing to take along with him. After thinking this through, Kazuma decided on bringing Aqua.
8. Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari
Also known as “The Rising of the Shield Hero,” this anime follows a betrayed hero who falls from grace when his reputation is tarnished by people in his circles.
Therefore, he starts off his journey in this otherworldly world, not really knowing what to do but getting overpowered to rebuild his public image so that he can confront his enemies who betrayed him. This isekai anime series, first seen in January 2019, has two seasons with a mix of action and drama, and a dark story about revenge.
7. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
In this other world anime series, we follow protagonist Satoru Mikami, a 37-year-old corporate worker who is stabbed and reincarnated in another world. He soon takes on the name Rimuru Tempest.
This isekai anime is a little tricky because the protagonist finds himself reborn as a slime in an alternate world and will use his powers to befriend people from different races.
6. Log Horizon
Next up, we have a brilliant game world anime called Log Horizon, which is an online RPG that enables players to live out their adventures throughout different worlds.
While the twelfth expansion, “Novasphere Pioneers,” was not installed well, and instead of becoming another cool experience for games, many Japanese players were stuck inside.
One notable character is the silent Shiroe. He’s not very good at socializing but he has a knack for strategy, which helps during his adventures in-game. As a leader of a “Log Horizon” guild, he starts building a team of players to survive in a monstrous world.

The game world is continuously evolving into a simulacrum of reality. As NPCs are becoming more emotional and life-like, Momonga becomes more cold and calculating, becoming less human himself. This young man has had a lonely life without friends or family. He then dedicates himself to conquering this new, bizarre game world and becoming the ultimate ruler.
4. No Game No Life
No Game, No Life is an anime with a good plot. It’s an action-adventure anime that has aspects of game themes. The story follows the main characters Sora and Shiro who are NEETs, playing video games all the time.
These two gamers can beat all of their favorite games and even realize the “real world” is just another “ugly game.” However, after being summoned by a mysterious Boy to an alternate universe, their lives will turn upside down.
The boy is the ultimate ruler of this world, who was able to stop the war and make this world, a place where games decide all of the living arrangements – even what happens to nations. There, the other races took control over humanity and drove them into one region…
3. Hataraku Maou-Sama
Htarakou Maou Sama is not actually an another world-journeying anime, but it follows a demon lord who has come to our real world! This story follows Devil King Sadao, who is one step away from conquering the world. He is then beaten by an angel hero named Emilia, who forces him to be transported to modern-day Tokyo. The Devil King has no skills other than conquering and ruling worlds, but he now ends up working as a freeter to pay his bills in his new lifestyle.
2. Drifters
This anime takes place in an alternate world and depicts the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600. Toyohisa Shimazu is the last rearguard for his retreating troops, but he gets critically injured when suddenly he appears in a modern, gleaming white hallway. Toyohisa is face-to-face with a stoic man when all of a sudden, he finds himself in another world that is unlike his own.
Quickly befriending the legendary Nobunaga Oda and Yoichi Nasu, Toyohisa learned about the political unrest that was tearing through the continent. Therefore, Toyohisa and the gang of heroes have to fight a new world war for the Empire and its subjects, while protecting what they’ve conquered from powerful enemies.
1. Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu
In Re: Zero anime series, Subaru Natsuki is just leaving a convenience store and has no idea that he’s about to be transported to another world. It doesn’t seem like things are looking too good for Subaru, but not long after his arrival, he is attacked by some thugs. Armed only with a bag of groceries and a now useless cell phone, the thug proceeds to beat him to a pulp.
Meanwhile, Satella lost her insignia and starts pursuing the person who stole it. She had, however, met up with Subaru, and ended up saving him. To honor that kind and honest girl, Subaru offers to help her in her search. That night they find what she had been looking for.
But out of nowhere, a much darker force stalks the pair from the shadows, and just minutes after locating the insignia, both Subaru and Satella are killed. However, Subaru manages to come back to life again, meeting the same thugs and Satella once again. This raises more questions than answers, as history starts to repeat itself.
