Animate Co., Ltd. has officially announced the release of a new line of merchandise for the hit anime series Bocchi the Rock!. The new products, featuring specially drawn illustrations of the four main Kessoku Band members dressed in vibrant aloha outfits, will be available for purchase starting August 2, 2025.
About Bocchi the Rock!
Bocchi the Rock! is a popular 4-panel manga series by illustrator Aki Hamaji, serialized in Manga Time Kirara MAX (published by Houbunsha). The anime adaptation, produced by CloverWorks, became a massive success both in Japan and abroad following its original run and film adaptation.
The 2024 theatrical compilation Bocchi the Rock! Re:/Re:Re: garnered over 1.1 billion yen in box office revenue, cementing the franchise’s popularity. With a second season of the anime officially in production, anticipation for upcoming content continues to grow.
New Merchandise Featuring Kessoku Band’s Summer Look
This upcoming product line introduces brand-new visuals of the beloved Kessoku Band members — Hitori Goto, Nijika Ijichi, Ryo Yamada, and Ikuyo Kita — all depicted wearing colorful aloha-themed summer attire.
The new items will include:

- Cooling Muffler Towels, perfect for the hot summer season
“Bocchi the Rock! Summer Fair 2025” to Be Held Nationwide
To mark the release of this new merchandise line, Animate will host a special campaign titled Bocchi the Rock! Summer Fair 2025 across all Animate stores in Japan, as well as Animate’s official online shop, from August 2 to August 24, 2025.
During the campaign period, customers who purchase or place advance deposits of at least 1,100 yen (tax included) on any Bocchi the Rock! goods, books, CDs, Blu-rays, or DVDs will receive one exclusive “Ticket-Style Card” (randomly selected from a set of four designs).
Note: Customers cannot choose the design of the bonus cards.
Special Exhibit at Animate Akihabara
Alongside the merchandise release and the Summer Fair campaign, a dedicated exhibition will also take place. The exhibit will be held on the 4th floor of Animate Akihabara Building No.1, from August 2 to August 24, 2025, and will feature:
- Life-sized standee panels of the Kessoku Band
- Fan message boards
- Special displays showcasing artwork and highlights from the anime
