The fourth My Hero Academia movie is set to release on Blu-ray and DVD in February 2025.
My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Your Next, is hitting Blu-ray and DVD on February 19, 2025! This latest installment in the My Hero Academia franchise set new records when it dropped in theaters on August 2, 2024. It pulled in 2.48 million viewers and scored over 3.55 billion yen, making it the highest-grossing film in the series so far! Studio Bones even plans to add more work to certain scenes for the Blu-ray/DVD release, so the at-home experience will be even more epic than it was in theaters.
The release is coming out in two editions. First, there’s the “Plus Ultra Edition,” which is a two-disc set packed with extras. You get a 44-page booklet with fresh interviews, concept art, and a collectible postcard featuring exclusive artwork from creator Kohei Horikoshi, plus an illustration he shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account. There’s also an “ULTRA DISC” that includes footage from events in both the US and Japan, and a specially designed case featuring an original illustration by character designer Yoshihiko Magoshi. Plus, it comes with a priority ticket application for an event in 2025 (details on that will drop later). If you’re looking to keep it simple, there’s also a “Regular Edition,” which includes just the main movie.

The story follows Izuku Midoriya (Deku), a young boy born without powers (called Quirks) in a world where almost everyone has one. Despite this, he dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might.
