An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride anime adaptation was first revealed on October 27, 2022. It’s going to be a TV show created by Brain’s Base and directed by Hiroshi Ishiodori, the release date of the anime will be on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS Asahi starting from April 2024!
Aya Yoshinaga will take care of the series scripts, Mina Ōsawa will design the characters, Keiji Gotoh will supervise the animation, and Yuma Yamaguchi will compose the music. The opening theme song, Wakaranai Ai (A Love I Can’t Understand), will be performed by The Brow Beat. Crunchyroll has secured the rights to stream the series.

In the upcoming anime, we have the main characters Zagan, voiced by Yusuke Kobayashi and Nephy, an elf slave voiced by Kana Ichinose. They start living together in Zagan’s castle, and their bond grows as they make new friends and encounter strong foes. Their goal is to have a peaceful and happy life together.
This anime is based on the Japanese light novel series called An Archdemon’s Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride, or just Madome. It’s written by Fuminori Teshima and drawn by COMTA. The first book came out in February 2017, and they’ve made seventeen volumes so far (until August 2023). The manga version is created by Hako Itagaki since February 2018. Both the light novel and manga are officially available in North America, thanks to J-Novel Club. And the big news – is that this isekai anime TV series is on the way, produced by Brain’s Base, and it’s hitting screens in April 2024!
