A 5th new visual for the slice-of-life CGDCT anime TV series Yuru Camp SEASON 3 has been released. The anime is based on Afro’s original work and is scheduled to start in April 2024. The latest visual shows Aoi Inuyama having Minobu manju by the river, giving a glimpse into the characters’ daily lives, complete with bicycles and a peaceful setting.
Previously, the official website of the Yuru Camp△ TV anime series unveiled details for the third season, including the main staff and some teaser visuals.
The release date of the upcoming Yuru Camp season 3 is set for spring 2024, and it will be directed by Shin Tosaka, known for works like IS: Infinite Stratos 2 and Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars. Masafumi Sugiura, recognized for contributions to Uma Musume: Pretty Derby and Barakamon, will handle the series composition. Takanori Hashimoto, known for his role as the main animator in Kitsutsuki Tanteidokoro, will be in charge of character design. Akiyuki Tateyama, who previously worked on Yuru Camp△ and Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki, will handle the music. Takeshi Takadera, known for Yuru Camp△ and “Oshi no Ko,” will serve as the sound director. The animation will be produced by Studio 8bit.
In Yuru Camp△, the characters and voice actors are: Nao Touyama voices the main character Shima Rin, while Yumiri Hanamori lends her voice to Kagamihara Nadeshiko. Aki Toyosaki portrays Inuyama Aoi, and Sayuri Hara voices Oogaki Chiaki. Rie Takahashi takes on the role of Saitou Ena, and Tomoyo Kurosawa takes the role of Toki Ayano.

The first Yuru Camp anime season, consisting of twelve episodes, aired from January 4 to March 22, 2018. Directed by Yoshiaki Kyōgoku and produced by C-Station, it featured the opening theme “Shiny Days” by Asaka and the ending theme “Fuyubiyori” by Eri Sasaki.
Crunchyroll co-financed, licensed, and streamed the series, releasing an English dub on August 2, 2022. A second season, a new film, and a short anime titled Room Camp were announced in October 2018. Room Camp, directed by Masato Jinbo, aired from January 6 to March 23, 2020, with “The Sunshower” by Asaka as its theme song.
The second season, airing from January 7 to April 1, 2021, featured “Seize the Day” by Asaka as the opening theme and “Next to Spring” by Eri Sasaki as the ending theme. The film premiered in Japan on July 1, 2022. While the third season is set to premiere in April 2024, which was announced in October 2022, animated by Eight Bit and directed by Shin Tosaka.
The manga, serialized in Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine from July 2015 to 2019, is now on Comic Fuz. Yen Press has licensed the manga for North American release, with fifteen volumes released so far.
