Details about the cast and the PV of the characters in the TV anime Viral Hit (Kenka Dokugaku, meaning How to Fight) set to air in April 2024 have been unveiled.
The announcement for the anime adaptation of Viral Hit came on February 10, 2024. It is produced by Okuruto Noboru and helmed by Masakazu Hishida. Toshiya Ono is in charge of scripting, Satomi Miyazaki is responsible for character design, and Yutaka Yamada is composing the music. The series is slated to debut in April 2024 on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block, and Crunchyroll has acquired the license for the show.
Kenka Dokugaku follows Yoo Hobin, who gets bullied by Pakgo, a popular streamer at school and on Newtube. Hobin also works part-time to pay for his mom’s hospital bills. One day, he accidentally messes up Pakgo’s stream and gets into a fight with Pakgo’s cameraman, Jiksae. The fight gets recorded and goes viral, earning Hobin a lot of money. Seeing the opportunity to make more money for his mom, Hobin teams up with Jiksae to create more fighting videos for Newtube. They take on bullies and tough opponents, aiming to become top streamers or face challenges they can’t handle.

Viral Hit or Kenka Dokugaku is a South Korean webtoon (Manhwa) written by Taejun Pak and illustrated by Kim Junghyun. The story has been running on Naver Webtoon since November 2019, and it’s collected into eight volumes as of December 2023. In Japan, it’s published by Line Manga since April 2020. English versions are available on Line Webtoon.
