Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi Second Season Coming This October – New Trailer & Visual Revealed!

The popular food and adventure anime series “Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi” (also called “Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill”) is getting a second season this October on TV Tokyo!

The team behind the anime just shared a brand-new teaser visual and trailer, giving us a first look at what’s coming. Plus, we now know that Murase Ayumu will be part of the cast this time.

What’s Coming in Season 2?

The new teaser visual shows the main character, Mukoda, happily eating a big bowl of beef rice, with the words: “A delicious journey restarts!!” The short trailer also gives us a peek at the returning characters, including the cute little dragon Dora-chan, who will be voiced by Murase Ayumu.

Murase talked about being part of the show, saying:

“When I watched the first season, it made me so hungry! The food looks amazing, and Mukoda’s cooking scenes are so fun. Even while recording, I kept imagining how tasty everything was!”

What’s the Story About?

For those who haven’t seen it yet, Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hourou Meshi follows Tsuyoshi Mukoda, a regular office worker who gets pulled into a fantasy world as a “hero.” But unlike most isekai heroes, his special power isn’t fighting—it’s an “Online Supermarket” that lets him buy real-world food from Japan!

At first, the kingdom thinks his skill is useless, but Mukoda proves them wrong. Using his modern ingredients, he cooks amazing meals that even attract Fel, a super-strong wolf, who becomes his partner just to eat his food!

Together, Mukoda and Fel travel around, taking on odd jobs and enjoying delicious dishes in a world full of magic and monsters.

The first season aired from January to March 2023, with 12 episodes full of fun adventures, comedy, and lots of cooking scenes. Made by MAPPA (the studio behind Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan: Final Season) and streamed by Crunchyroll, the anime became a hit for its mix of fantasy and food.
