Director Saku Sakamoto is working on a new short anime film called Calabi-Yau No Sukima, and the official website has just shared a scary teaser visual. The image shows a girl in a classroom, facing a big hatched egg, with a shadow of a humanoid creature on the floor.

Calabi-Yau-new-anime-movieThe announcement came on January 10th, stating that the film titled “Amrita’s Feast,” where Sakamoto takes on five roles, including director, animator, writer, screenwriter, and composer, will be available for rent and download. Additionally, “Aranye’s Insect Cage” will also be available for rental and download. This special event is in celebration of the “Refined Edition” subscription distribution.

The producer, Osamu Fukutani, mentioned they purposely haven’t chosen a release date or screening time. They want Director Sakamoto to focus on making the movie until he’s happy with it. Sorry to everyone interested, but please wait a bit until the movie is done. We’ll share more info when needed.

Apart from what’s already shared (like the title “Calabi-Yau no Sukima Anime Horror Movie Announced,” being a short animated film, and the teaser visual), additional details are still kept under wraps. Stay tuned for more updates!
