Created by Liden Films, and set to debut in July 2023. The new Atelier Ryza anime television series is based on a popular role-playing video game made by Gust and was first released in Japan in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Microsoft Windows. It was later released in North America and the rest of the world. It is part of the Atelier series and is the twenty-first main entry. A sequel, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy, was released in 2020 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, with a Microsoft Windows version being released in the same month for all regions. Another sequel, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, will be released in March 2023 for multiple platforms.
Mark Your Calendars: Atelier Ryza Anime to Premiere on July 1st!
This upcoming anime is based on the game titled “Atelier Ryza” from Koei Tecmo Games. Along with the main character Ryza, voiced by Yuri Noguchi, we have seen the introduction of Claudia, Rento, and Tao, voiced by Hitomi Owada, Takuma Terashima, and Yui Kondo, respectively.
Moreover, the first episode will premiere on Tokyo MX, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, and BS11 every Saturday from July 1st at 24:00. It will also air on Yomiuri TV and TV Aichi every Monday from July 3rd. The opening theme song, “Golden Ray,” will be performed by Phantasia and released in March.
Additionally, on June 17th, an advance screening and talk event for the anime will take place at Shinjuku Wald 9, with ticket sales starting from May 13th through an advance lottery.
