A Terrified Teacher at Ghoul School! (Youkai Gakkou no Sensei Hajimemashita!) is an upcoming comedy fantasy anime of 2024 adapted from the manga of the same name by Mai Tanaka. The manga, which started in Monthly G Fantasy magazine in November 2014, has been a hit, with fifteen tankōbon volumes compiled by June 2023. Yen Press announced the English licensing of the manga during Sakura-Con 2017.
The story follows Abe Haruaki, a novice teacher who is timid and a bit of a crybaby. To his surprise, he finds himself teaching in a school filled with youkai, leading to amusing and strange daily adventures between the scared human teacher and his youkai students.
