The Snack Basue official X account confirms that the release date of Snack Basue anime series will start on January 12, 2024, on Tokyo MX and other channels. The opening song is “Ura Omote Aquarium” by Otonari featuring Ririko and Ryōhei Sataka. The manga was first announced to get an anime adaptation in June 2023.
It’s now confirmed as a TV series animated by Studio Puyukai, directed by Minoru Ashina, who is also handling the scripts and supervision. Tomiyama is the character designer and chief animation director, Jun’ichi Ōkubo as the photography director, Fumiyuki Go as the sound director, and Yuji Furuya for sound effects. Shōta Kowashi is composing the music, and Pony Canyon is in charge of music production.
The anime series Snack Basue features a lively cast of characters, each voiced by iconic voice actors. Akemi, voiced by Rie Takahashi, sets the stage alongside characters like Basue, voiced by Kimiko Saito, Yamada voiced by Yōhei Azakami, and others.
