Suzuki Nakaobas’s Golf manga Rising Impact is officially getting an anime adaptation, set to be released exclusively on Netflix. Season 1 is scheduled for June 2024, followed by Season 2 in August 2024. The cast details, staff, special footage, and teaser visuals have been revealed.
Lay-duce is producing the original net animation series, directed by Hitoshi Nanba, with Michihiro Tsuchiya handling the scripts, Kiyotaka Oshiyama designing the characters, and Masaru Yokoyama composing the music. The anime is based on Nakaba Suzuki’s golf manga, the author is best known for his work (The Seven Deadly Sins), originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from November 24, 1998, to February 19, 2002, and collected in 17 tankōbon volumes released from April 30, 1999, to August 2, 2002.
Rising Impact is a an upcoming Netflix anime of 2024, which is all about golf and tells the story of a young boy named Gawain. He lives in a rural mountain area and has a deep passion for baseball, especially making the ball soar through the air. One day, a visitor introduces him to golf, a sport that can also send a ball flying. After just one shot, Gawain becomes hooked. With his grandpa’s blessing, he embarks on a journey to Tokyo with the mysterious woman to learn everything about golf. Along the way, he encounters various interesting characters and faces different challenges.
