They also revealed the anime’s teaser visuals, main cast, and main staff.

 The series is produced by EMT Squared and directed by Shinobu Tagashira, with Tomoco Kanemaki writing the series scripts, and Tagashira designing the characters. Muse Communication licensed the series in Southeast Asia.

 The story of I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons follows Leticia, who is unwillingly engaged to Prince Clarke. She has hated the last decade of her life, being forced to undergo Queen Consort training. At a ball, Leticia sees Prince Clarke seemingly having an affair. She angrily tells him to enjoy his new life and leaves for the countryside to live a simple life. However, Prince Clarke has a psychotic obsession with her and refuses to accept her rejection. To make matters worse, everyone around them only sees the prince’s unrequited love and completely ignores Letty’s feelings.

 I Want to Escape from Princess Lessons is a Japanese light novel series by Izumi Sawano, with illustrations by Miru Yumesaki. It was published online from August 2018 to May 2019 on the website Shōsetsuka ni Narō. Later, Shufu to Seikatsu Sha picked it up and released two volumes between April 2019 and March 2020 under their PASH! Books imprint.

A manga adaptation by Uri Sugata has been available on Shufu to Seikatsu Sha’s PASH UP! website since March 2020 and has been collected into five volumes. Both the light novel and manga are licensed in North America by J-Novel Club.
