On Wednesday, Kadokawa revealed additional cast members and a key visual for the upcoming second season of the anime Banished From The Heroes’ Party. This anime, titled “Banished from the Hero’s Party, I Decided to Live a Quiet Life in the Countryside,” is based on a Japanese light novel series written by Zappon and illustrated by Yasumo. The story falls under the genres of fantasy and slice of life, with a total of 13 episodes. The music for the series is composed by Yukari Hashimoto. The original networks are: AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS NTV, KBS Kyoto, and SUN. The anime is produced by Studio Flad and Wolfsbane.
Besides familiar main characters like Red, Rit, Ruti Ragnason, Yarandrala, and many others from the first season, the second season introduces new members, and they are:

Banished From The Hero’s Party, I Decided To Live A Quiet Life In The Countryside,” also known as “Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita,” is a manga turned into a TV show. The manga, drawn by Masahiro Ikeno, has been coming out in Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine since May 2018 and has 11 collected volumes as of May 2023. It’s also available in North America thanks to Yen Press.
There’s a spin-off manga called “Shin no Nakama ni Narenakatta Ohime-sama wa, Henkyou de Slow Life Suru Koto ni Shimashita,” illustrated by Mutsuki Higashioji, which started in October 2021, focusing on the character Rit. The anime adaptation was announced in November 2020 and aired from October to December 2021. It was initially set for July but got delayed to October. The second season is scheduled to premiere in January 2024, with Satoshi Takafuji directing and Studio Flad returning.
Banished From The Heroes’ Party is an anime about Gideon Ragnason. In this world, people’s futures are decided by the Divine Blessings they get when they’re born. Gideon was part of the Hero’s Party, a strong group led by his sister Ruti, meant to save the world from evil. His Blessing let him survive in any place, and he showed that extra skills can be super useful. But one day, Ares, the Party’s second-in-command, thinks Gideon is holding them back and kicks him out. Gideon listens to Ares and leaves without telling Ruti.
Gideon wants an easy life on the frontier, so he moves to a town at the border and opens a medicine shop, calling himself Red. But keeping his past a secret isn’t easy, especially when Rit, a beautiful adventurer from his old life, shows up and wants to stay with him!
