Hi, I’m Mohsin — Founder of BakaBuzz
I’ve been watching anime for over 20 years. I started BakaBuzz in 2018 because I was tired of generic “top anime” lists that all said the same thing. I wanted a place that felt like getting recommendations from a real fan — someone who has actually watched thousands of hours of anime and has strong opinions about all of it.
What is BakaBuzz?
BakaBuzz is an anime and manga recommendation site I built from scratch. Over 8 years, it’s become one of the most trusted English-language anime blogs on the web, with millions of readers discovering new series through our lists, guides, and reviews.
I cover everything from mainstream hits like Attack on Titan and Demon Slayer to deep-cut hidden gems most fans have never heard of. If you’ve been watching anime for a week or for two decades, there’s something here for you.
My Background
- 20+ years as an active anime fan — I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z, Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach, then went deeper into every genre imaginable
- Watched 1,000+ anime series across action, romance, isekai, ecchi, psychological, mecha, slice-of-life, and more
- Founded BakaBuzz.com in 2017 — grown to 600+ articles and millions of readers
- Specialties: harem anime, isekai, betrayal/revenge stories, emotional anime, and finding underrated gems
Why Trust BakaBuzz?
Every recommendation on this site comes from real watching experience. When I say an anime is worth watching, it’s because I’ve watched it myself — not because an algorithm told me to include it. I write about what I genuinely love, and I’m not afraid to tell you when something is overhyped.
I’m also a real person with a real opinion. You’ll notice my writing style is direct — I’ll tell you exactly what type of viewer will enjoy something and what to expect. No fluff, no filler.
